![]() The only thing that TunePat does poorly is that it hangs if you have too many tunes to convert from one release - usually over 50 or so tunes. Maybe they need to dissect some TunePat software to find out what they're doing correctly. The thing that's most frustrating about the "cons" above is that all of them don't exist on another converter that I use: it doesn't make you ask for a new key whenever you make computer changes it converts extremely quickly (over 10X) on a Mac and you don't have any new driver additions that hijack your audio, so I know that it can be done. It adds a virtual audio driver that completely disables all of your other audio, so if you want to listen to anything on your computer while it's doing it's "real time" conversion, then you're out of luck. The fact that you only get 1:1 time transfer on a Mac, but are able to get as fast as 16X on a Windows machine just demonstrates lazy inattention to a brand of computer that comes from a 2 TRILLION dollar company.Practically nobody does this ancient method anymore. You need to be sent a new license key if you ever change or reinstall your computer. You can convert a large number of tunes in one sitting. The support team quickly responds to your questions and is friendly when doing so.So that my Mac the computer where my main library is own and where I play most of my music from can be used for that purpose. I ultimately chose to purchase Sidify and resurrect an old Windows 10 machine that I recently retire and connect it to my iTunes library. Even if the trail only converts 3 minutes of the track it is worth the time and effort. Last comment before you buy a program see if it offers a free trial. All this will create a Playlist that will let you have control on what is displayed in the programs. Once it is running it converts fine)ģ) Cannot hide iCloud files nor already converted files.ġ) Sidify opens the iTunes library immediately.ģ) Fabtunes has better output file naming convention.Ĥ) Both require exclusive access to the iTunes library.Ħ) Create a iTunes Smart Playlist using the iCloud status and chose Apple Music as the status then if you want you can chose Purchase and set to false then you chose Date Added as within the last day. Which means it cannot convert multiple files at one time.)Ģ) Takes over 10 minutes to load a simple iTunes library on both Mac and Windows. I tested the software on both a fairly fast Windows and Mac.ġ) Works well does what it says converts to ACC and M4A filesĢ) Gives very good output file name optionsģ) Gives very good output quality optionsġ) Takes over iTunes so that you cannot listen to music while it converts (The way that all music converters work. I'm in the process of identifying the senior management of TuneFab, so that I can provide feedback on how poorly the operations are being managed. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, AND NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Other reviews mentioned Win X Media Trans., and Sidify, which I will now check out. Trying to convert all of the music for a prolific musician is a true test of patience and endurance, since there is no way of knowing whether the program will quit after 5 songs or after 60. To restart the conversion session, the original Spotify playlist used for that session must be edited to remove the songs already converted. ![]() Their current Spotify Converter running on my MacBook Pro will typically convert from 20 to 30 songs (but ranging between 5 and 60) before it quits. They completely stopped supporting the previous Spotify Converter program which I had paid for, but which was loaded with bugs, so I had to purchase their new and completely different Spotify Converter to try to move forward with conversions. From that date on until today (7-14-22) I've not received a useful response to any one of my 30+ emails. The response to my next request for help was received on 4-3-21 and stated "Your request (13512) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff." This email appeared to be a template, without the name of the person sending the email. The last email I received from Inez Miller was on 2-28-21, and she answered my question, as always. Inez Miller left the company, and the previous TuneFab company appears to have become part of a German/Hong Kong company. On November 4,2020, I submitted a review of TuneFab entitled "Most responsive company in my memory!" TuneFab appears now to be a completely new company.
